| About Ktown Softball League 
Welcome to the K-Town Softball League (KSL).
Last year approximately 120 softball players participated in our
league comprising 8 teams. In addition to playing in our league, several
of our teams traveled to tournaments in other cities, like Birmingham,
Orlando, Atlanta and Nashville.
Divisional Play For All Skill Levels
You've never played softball before? You're a softball star? Either way,
MCSL has a place for you regardless of your skill level. It's up to each
player to decide what kind of team he or she wants to play with. Review
the following descriptions of each division and choose the one that best
fits your skill level, experience, and approach to the game. Remember,
no division is "better" than any other. All divisions play the same number
of league games at the same facilities with the same umpires. When choosing
a division to play in the important thing to consider is that each division
is unique based on skill levels and attitudes. Select a division that
offers the kind of experience you're seeking.
Open C Division:
Teams are comprised of men and women with a wide variety of skill levels.
C Division players have usually played softball or baseball before. This
division is popular with players with intermediate skill levels who want
to enjoy the game with some competition and a little more focus or drive.
Open D Division:
Teams are comprised of men and women with beginner skill levels. Many
D Division players have never participated in softball or other sports.
This division is an excellent entry point for new athletes who want to
learn the game and develop skills in a relaxed atmosphere, or for those
who are unsure about their abilities.
Open Women's Division:
eams are comprised of women with skill levels that range from beginner
to advanced. At this time we only have two women's teams but are hoping
to double that for spring. Hopefully by fall of 2006 we will have enough
women's teams for two divisions. So we encourage you to come out and bring
two friends.
KSL IS A SAFE PLACE

shares our ideals of tolerance and acceptance. Our teams include gay,
lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight players, in addition to players
of every age and race, and we're very proud of our diversity! We're committed
to creating a fun and exciting environment for the pursuit of athletic
ability and camaraderie for all people.
